Charles Vary, a queer artist, navigates the vibrant landscapes of Montreal and Toronto for the last decade, passionately honing his craft as a director, director of photography, and photographer. Drawing from a background as an advertising agency producer, Charles also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography Studies and Integrated Digital Media from Toronto Metropolitan University.
His work spans the intersection of queer culture, fashion, arts, and advertising, attracting prestigious clients like Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., and Volvo, along with iconic brands such as Lululemon and Sephora US. Collaborating with renowned agencies like Sid Lee, Rethink, and Bensimon Byrne, Charles pushes the boundaries of conventional advertising with innovation and authenticity.
